Requirements for candidates: Compliance with the requirements specified in Articles 4 and 7 of the Service Career Law of officials with special service ranks in institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Penitentiary Administration; First-level professional higher education (educational thematic areas: law, civil and military defense, commerce and administration, social and human sciences, computer science); Good computer skills (MS Word and MS Excel); State language proficiency level – C1; Category B driver's license. Candidates who have not previously served in institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs or the Penitentiary Administration will be required to complete a 3-month professional development education program "Basics of Police Work for State Police Officials" at the State Police College.
