Global Product Manager - Fergas Group

The Role: In close collaboration with our sales teams globally, you ensure that customer needs are translated into technically sound and commercially viable solutions. You serve as the customer's voice internally to ensure customer requirements are incorporated into relevant product development projects. The role is both strategic and operational, where you are expected to identify improvement and business opportunities and drive them from idea to implementation. Part of the role involves leading complex projects. You have a coordinating role between different project stakeholders and ensure that the project's objectives, requirements, timeline, and deliverables are maintained. You will also work with the commercial development of the product, such as costs, profitability, and value optimization, as well as monitoring the market, customer needs, technology development, and relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities: Be the customer's and project's natural point of contact on technical matters and ensure that customer needs and requirements become clear to the organization Lead complex projects and coordinate activities between, for example, engineering, production, sales, procurement, suppliers, and customers Drive product work through the entire product lifecycle – from market and customer needs to requirements definition, development, improvements, and launch Contribute to and drive work with product strategy, product portfolio, and technical roadmap Identify opportunities for product improvement, innovation, and new technical solutions Work with the commercial development of the product, such as costs, profitability, business cases, and value optimization Monitor the market, competitors, customer needs, and relevant regulations and translate this into concrete product initiatives Be involved and ensure that products meet relevant standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements The role involves close collaboration with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and production units across multiple international markets. You report to and work closely with the Global Technical Engineering Director for Fergas Group. Who Are You? The Global Product Manager role is new for us, so we are looking for someone who prefers to shape how the role and assignment should be designed rather than receiving a predefined job description. If you are attracted to the fact that nothing is set in stone, you will have great opportunities for professional learning and personal development. We believe you have a technical or commercial university degree, for example in engineering, product development, product management, or economics with a technical focus. You have experience from a technical or manufacturing operation and have worked with, for example, Product Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a similar role. What matters is not the exact title you've had, but that you are used to taking responsibility, driving things forward, and getting different functions to collaborate. You have a strong interest in technology and preferably experience with, for example, ventilation, air flows, fans, motors, or related technology. Experience from an international manufacturing organization with multiple production units is a plus. To succeed in the role, you also need to have: Good commercial understanding Strong analytical ability and a structured approach to problem-solving Experience driving cross-functional projects Understanding of product lifecycle, product portfolio, and strategic product work Good understanding of standards, regulatory requirements, and product certification Strong customer focus and ability to understand the customer's real needs Very good communication skills and ability to build trust with various stakeholders Ability to work independently, prioritize, and drive multiple issues in parallel A results-oriented approach You speak and write English fluently; if you speak Swedish, that is strongly advantageous.
