Götene Vatten & Värme AB's operations consist of production and distribution of district heating, steam and hot water, production and distribution of water, and wastewater management. The company was founded in 1995 as a municipal energy company and was expanded in 2003 to also include water and wastewater operations. Operations are conducted exclusively in Götene municipality and has approximately 35 employees. About the Job We are now seeking a dedicated Operations and Maintenance Technician for our Energy division team in Götene. In this role, you will be a key player in our efforts to achieve our vision by ensuring optimal operation and maintenance of our production and distribution facilities for district heating, steam, and hot water. You will work with both routine tasks and innovative problem-solving that contributes to both environmental and economic efficiency. This includes rounds, operation and monitoring of equipment, as well as performing maintenance, repairs, and other improvements to ensure optimization of our processes. Your work is critical to our ability to live up to our core values GVV: Together, Visionary, and Value-Creating. Here you will work independently with significant responsibility, while also being an important part of a close-knit team of six people where service orientation, accountability, and good communication are a given in daily work. You will face varying and technically challenging situations where your creativity and drive make a difference. Who Are You? You have, for example, education in and/or experience working with solid fuel installations, heat/steam production, or process industry. It is a merit if you are a certified boiler operator. To be a good fit with us, the small company with big assignments, we believe you are thorough, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. You are curious and passionate about technology and are solution-oriented. As a person, you are positive and driven and thrive with significant responsibility. You have good computer skills and good knowledge of Swedish and basic English. A Class B driver's license is required, and you must be resident in the municipality or its surrounding area as the response time during on-call duty is 30 minutes.
