We are looking for you – a specialist physician or chief physician in rehabilitation medicine who can lead complex rehabilitation processes and wants to contribute to the development of future rehabilitation medicine. You will become part of one of Sweden's largest rehabilitation medicine operations with leading expertise in spinal cord injuries, brain injury rehabilitation, and spasticity treatment. About the Operation Rehabilitation Medicine is part of Neurocare Services at Sahlgrenska University Hospital. We conduct highly specialized rehabilitation in both inpatient and outpatient care. The operation includes rehabilitation following brain and spinal cord injuries, nationally highly specialized care for early rehabilitation of spinal cord injuries and late effects after polio, as well as a spasticity clinic with botulinum toxin and intrathecal treatment. The operation is quality-accredited by CARF. We offer: An independent medical assignment with the opportunity to influence both patients' rehabilitation and operational development. Work in one of Sweden's largest rehabilitation medicine operations with nationally highly specialized care (NHV) for spinal cord injuries and late effects after polio. Participation in the development of nationally highly specialized care. Work alongside experienced specialists in neurological rehabilitation, spinal cord injuries, and spasticity treatment. Close collaboration with colleagues in multiprofessional teams. Opportunity to develop special areas of responsibility based on interest and expertise. Duties: Hold medical responsibility for patients with complex rehabilitation needs Conduct medical assessments and contribute to patients' recovery, independence, and participation Lead and work in multiprofessional teams, participate in team rounds and referral assessments Supervise medical residents, students, and colleagues Collaborate with other healthcare providers to create coherent rehabilitation processes Participate in and develop internal and external education Participate in operational development The position includes work in both inpatient and outpatient care. Working hours are primarily during daytime, weekdays.
