The operations area consists of approximately 800 employees, most of whom work as insurance investigators or insurance specialists. Employees make decisions for customers applying for sickness benefits for the first time, answer incoming customer calls, and handle administrative tasks. The work demands high efficiency and quality. The operations you lead are distributed across several locations in Sweden, and travel is part of the position. The operations area has strong interdependencies with other parts of the sick leave process, so good collaboration skills are essential. As Operations Area Manager, you are part of the department's management group, and your direct supervisor is the department director.
