The work requires that you have the ability and interest in learning to work methodically while also being open to sudden changes. Since they cannot communicate verbally, AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) is used in daily communication—pictures, gestures, and signs. Their interests include animals, being outdoors, "playing," swimming, roughhousing, and music. We are looking for someone with lots of energy who is genuinely interested in working with service users within the LSS framework.
