Block Chief for Megaproject
About the Role Do you want to take responsibility in one of Sweden's most exciting and comprehensive construction projects in the building of a new steel mill? As Block Chief, you have overall responsibility for planning, leading, and executing the project's components with a focus on quality, time, and budget. You are responsible for project planning, resource procurement, and production together with a team of supervisors, our own skilled workers, and subcontractors. The role requires clear leadership, presence in production, and a responsible and solution-oriented approach. You ensure structure, progress, and a good work environment while maintaining professional dialogue with the client and other involved parties. In certain projects, the role may also include participation in bid preparation, where your experience contributes to realistic and feasible project plans. You have worked as a site manager for at least 1–3 years and have thereby built up a strong understanding of production, leadership, and project management in larger project environments. You have a technical background and feel confident in both contractor law and financial follow-up. Your Profile As a person, you are stable, organized, and clear in your leadership. You create conditions for good progress in production and ensure that work is carried out with a focus on quality, safety, time, and budget. With a solution-oriented approach and strong collaboration skills, you drive your area of responsibility forward and contribute to professional and efficient project execution.
