About the Role We are now seeking an experienced strategic procurement manager in logistics who wants to be part of developing tomorrow's transport and logistics solutions. In this role, you will be an important part of a global procurement organization responsible for developing and managing supplier relationships within transport and logistics services. You will work closely with internal operations and external suppliers to ensure competitive solutions with a focus on cost, quality, sustainability, and delivery capability. Your Areas of Responsibility As Senior Strategic Procurement Manager, you are responsible for driving and developing procurement work within the logistics area. The role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure that procurement strategies and business objectives are aligned. Your main responsibilities include: Lead and drive sourcing projects and procurement processes from analysis and request for proposals to negotiation and contract signing. Develop and implement category strategies and supplier strategies. Build, develop, and manage business relationships with suppliers and internal operations. Conduct market analyses and identify business opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement. Prepare and conduct commercial negotiations. Evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Manage contracts and ensure compliance with agreed terms. Produce analyses and decision-making materials to support the organization in strategic decisions. Collaborate cross-functionally with functions such as logistics, production, engineering, and finance. Your Profile We are looking for someone with experience in strategic procurement and who thrives in a role where business acumen, analysis, and collaboration are in focus. You have a strong commercial understanding, a good ability to build relationships, and experience driving complex procurement projects in an international environment. To succeed in the role, you need to be able to combine a strategic perspective with a structured and results-oriented approach. We would like to see that you have Academic education in procurement, logistics, economics, engineering, or equivalent. Experience in strategic procurement, sourcing, or category management. Documented experience with negotiations and supplier management. Good understanding of supply chain and logistics-related services. Experience in project management and driving complex tasks with multiple stakeholders. Strong analytical skills and experience working data-driven. Good English skills, both spoken and written.
