Machine Builder for Innovative Corebon

Do you want to work practically with advanced machine building and simultaneously take on a central role in developing the production equipment of the future? Corebon continues to grow and is now seeking an experienced machine builder who wants to take full responsibility from early project stages through building to customer commissioning. Here you'll combine your practical expertise with project participation, problem-solving, and close collaboration with the company's engineers. About the company: Corebon is a technology-driven company at the forefront of manufacturing composite materials. The company develops innovative solutions for rapid and energy-efficient heating and cooling of mold tools as well as induction welding for thermoplastic composites. Corebon collaborates with leading players in sports, automotive, aviation, and renewable energy, where sustainability and lightweight technology are in focus. Corebon's ambition is to make high-quality composite parts more accessible and cost-effective through new technology and smarter production methods. About the position: As a machine builder, you'll have a central role in building Corebon's proprietary machines. You'll come in early in machine projects and work closely with the engineering organization to translate designs and technical drawings into complete and functional machines. The role is both planning-oriented and operational. You typically work on two to three projects in parallel while also working hands-on with assembly, mechanics, and problem-solving in an active project. Since the machines are proprietary designs, assembly documentation is not always complete, which requires that you use your experience to identify what's missing, find practical solutions, ensure machine functionality, and provide feedback to the project and development teams. More specifically, the position involves: - Building and assembly of Corebon's proprietary machines - Planning and managing assembly work within projects - Practical problem-solving based on drawings and assembly documentation - Ongoing technical discussions and development meetings with the engineering organization - Commissioning, installation, service, and repair at customer sites - Technical support to customers remotely - Contributing practical experience to ensure designs and solutions work in reality and that documentation is updated Most of your time you'll work hands-on with machines at Corebon's production facility in Malmö. For installation, commissioning, and service, you'll work at customer sites, which involves travel and overnight stays of up to 3 days per month during 10 months of the year, but typically around 3 days during 5 months of the year. About you: We're primarily seeking someone with solid practical experience building machines and who has developed a feel for what it takes to get a machine from drawings and components into a complete, reliable, and functioning unit. You're experienced at screwing, assembling, troubleshooting, and finding solutions on your own when documentation doesn't provide all the answers. As a person, you're confident in your technical competence and work calmly, structurally, and methodically even when multiple projects are running simultaneously. You're pedagogical and enjoy sharing your experience, which allows you to naturally function as a sounding board and mentor for more junior colleagues. At the same time, you enjoy dialogue with engineers and aren't hesitant to contribute practical perspectives when a technical solution needs development. Requirements for the position: - Solid experience with mechanics, machine building, and machine assembly - Ability to independently build and complete machines based on 3D CAD models - Basic understanding of electrical engineering and electrical schematics - Good computer skills - Fluent Swedish and English - B driver's license - Willingness to travel for work Additional information: Start: By agreement Location: Malmö Scope: Full-time Salary: By agreement If you have questions about the position, please email responsible recruiter Anders Romberg at [email protected]. Please specify which position you're applying for. We recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible as we're conducting continuous selection Welcome with your application! See when something needs to be done, roll up your sleeves, and get it done. It's an advantage if you've worked in retail or service, but it's not a requirement. You speak, write, and understand Swedish. Many of our customers speak more than one language, so if you do too, that's great!
