Project Manager with Mechanical Expertise

We are seeking a project manager who wants to be part of advancing the future of digital forest technology – from concept to rolling production. In your role as a project manager within the hardware team, you will handle mechanics, electronics, coordination with software teams, regulatory compliance, and production launch. This position suits someone with experience in product development who thrives working cross-functionally. You will actively engage in feasibility studies and requirement specifications, and then drive the work through the development phase and industrialization until production launch. Since we continuously work to improve our products and services, you are flexible in considering new input. Collaboration with other teams within NFA and external partners will be a central part of your work. Key Responsibilities Conduct feasibility studies to make the right decisions, primarily around mechanics and electronics, often in collaboration with customers and external suppliers where site visits occur. Manage requirements and conduct conformity analyses around various regulations. Responsible for driving development work within your projects forward, often in close collaboration with other teams within NFA and external partners. Ensure proper documentation, both for internal and external verification as well as according to regulatory requirements. Handle industrialization to ensure supply chains, pricing, and production setup. Assist in managing support issues related to our products' hardware. Profile Relevant background is project management in product development involving mechanics and electronics. Advantageous experience includes work as a mechanical designer where you can handle modern CAD tools, knowledge of functional safety systems, and regulatory compliance (Compliance) for electronics and machinery products.
