We are now seeking a postdoctoral researcher for the project: "Broccoli's bioactive compounds for improved glucose control, health and quality of life in older adults" - a randomized, placebo-controlled and double-blind intervention study. Responsibilities The project is conducted in collaboration between academia, industry, and society (GIH, Nomio AB, and the Kamprad Family Foundation) and investigates how daily supplementation with broccoli sprout extract combined with regular physical activity affects glucose control, low-grade inflammation, physical capacity, sleep, and quality of life in older adults (65–80 years). The project is implemented in close collaboration with participating municipalities and elderly care centers in the Greater Stockholm area. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will play a central role in implementing the project and are expected to independently coordinate the study regarding protocol, participant logistics, and measurement procedures. The responsibilities include planning and conducting physiological tests and health measurements, including functional tests, VO₂ max tests, handling of wearable sensors, and analysis of biochemical markers. You will also be responsible for implementing training interventions and supervising and coordinating master's students who participate in the project as instructors. During the project, you are expected to process and analyze research data, interpret results, and contribute to scientific publications. At Vindex, we are now seeking a Payroll Manager & HR Specialist for an interim assignment of approximately six months with immediate start. About the Role In this role, you will have full responsibility for the payroll process while working operatively with HR administration, system management, and development of workflows and procedures. You are responsible for ensuring that payroll management is carried out correctly and efficiently and serve as a support to the organization's managers on matters related to payroll, collective agreements, and HR. The role also includes administration of pensions and insurance, system management, and ongoing development of processes and documentation to ensure quality and well-functioning payroll and HR operations. Location: Stockholm with flexible work model Key Responsibilities Independently manage the entire payroll process from time tracking to completed payroll runs Administer pensions, insurance, vacation, absences, and other personnel administration Interpret and apply collective agreements, with particular focus on the Transport Agreement Administer employment contracts and coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes Serve as system administrator for payroll and HR systems and ensure correct integrations and payroll-related accounting Support managers with questions regarding payroll, collective agreements, and HR processes Identify areas for improvement and develop procedures, processes, and documentation within payroll and HR Qualifications We are looking for someone with several years of experience independently managing the entire payroll process. You have solid knowledge of Swedish labor law and collective agreements and are experienced in working with both payroll administration and HR-related processes. We would like you to have: Relevant post-secondary education in payroll, finance, or HR Experience with the complete payroll process from start to finish Very strong knowledge of Swedish collective agreements, with experience of the Transport Agreement being a requirement Experience with HR administration, such as employment contracts, onboarding, and personnel administration Good system proficiency and experience with payroll and HR systems, preferably Fortnox, Planday, or similar Strong Excel skills Very good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written About You To succeed in this role, you are a confident and self-directed person who thrives with full responsibility.
