We are expanding with an additional occupational therapist—are you the one we're looking for? Here you'll have the opportunity to work flexibly in our primary care assignment with home rehabilitation teams, outpatient clinics, and our Neuro Team. Salem Rehab is an operation within the Stockholm County Healthcare Region with a mandate to provide primary care rehabilitation with a specialized assignment for neuro services in outpatient care. Within our base assignment, which includes home rehabilitation and outpatient clinic work, occupational therapists, physical therapists, chiropractors, and dietitians work together. The Neuro Team also includes a social worker and speech-language pathologist. When you join us, you'll receive comprehensive training in both the base assignment and the Neuro Team. The Neuro Team also has regular supervision from a neuropsychologist to strengthen the group and further increase our expertise. We are one of the few primary care units located together with a health center. On the rehabilitation side, we are 23 people in total; in the entire operation, including the health center, we are close to 60 people. The advantage of being part of the health center is that we have close and tight collaboration with all professionals at the clinic. Your work will be characterized by a patient focus, work enjoyment, and the belief that all people are equally valued. Work tasks: Occupational therapy tasks within the primary care assignment are highly varied. In our base assignment, we conduct home visits where we assess assistive device needs and fit assistive equipment, perform activities of daily living (ADL) assessments and issue certificates as the basis for housing adaptation applications, and conduct basic memory assessments in patients' homes. Home visits are performed both as a team and individually. In the clinic, we work with hand rehabilitation and work capacity evaluations; clinic work can be both individual and group-based. In the Neuro Team, you'll meet patients from age 18 with various types of neurological conditions. In the Neuro Team, we emphasize teamwork greatly, with shared goals and close collaboration within the team. You will collaborate with other care providers at the unit as well as with family members and other stakeholders, and you will supervise students. Qualifications: - Licensed occupational therapist; experience from primary care or neuro team work is highly valued, but the position may also suit you if you're new to the profession, as you'll receive training from experienced colleagues. - B-class driving license. - Further education at university level is valued. - Swedish language skills at least level C1.
