Solutions Architect, Data Warehouse

As our IT division at Svenska kraftnät grows, so does the unit's mission, and the Data and Reporting Platform is and will become an increasingly important part of Svenska kraftnät's data initiatives. We are seeking two Solutions Architects in data warehouse who want to be part of Svenska kraftnät's data-driven journey by transforming data into valuable insights and creating data architecture solutions that make a real difference for the entire organization. About the Position You will become part of the Data Analysis and Data Platform unit, which is responsible for providing platforms for storage, analysis, and sharing of data to enable secure and efficient use of data and information across the entire agency. The unit responds to inquiries and requests for structured data, such as data extracts and published reports. The unit has an engaged team of 20 employees with expertise in data analysis, backend and frontend development, and IT specialists who manage architecture, application operations, and support for our platforms. We work according to agile principles in a cross-functional manner together with operations managers and product owners, handling both maintenance and further development. In your role as Solutions Architect, you will help develop and implement solutions for how data should flow in from source systems, be processed, refined, and sent to various consumers. You will also work on creating solution descriptions, maintaining the architecture, and contributing to the development of data flows and reports in our data platforms, such as Soda Batch, which is Svenska kraftnät's data lake and decision support solution. You work in a DevOps manner and are responsible for delivery from start to finish – from sketching and conceptualization to design and implementation, and you don't hesitate to dive into detailed technical levels when needed – always with a focus on solutions that are smart and maintainable. An important part of the role going forward is to work on further developing the existing data lake to structure, simplify, and streamline the work of retrieving and using data. The position will also include: Preparing technical design documents and solution descriptions as a foundation for development with a focus on scalability, longevity, and maintainability Developing, driving, and following up on implementation of solutions Maintaining and further developing the architecture in the data platform and data lake Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to advance architecture development In this role, you will become a key person in driving Svenska kraftnät's data-driven development and strengthening the organization's ability to use data as a basis for decision-making and insights. You have a relevant higher education or university degree in Engineering, Systems Science, or Computer Science, or equivalent education and work experience that Svenska kraftnät deems equivalent.
