We are now seeking a certified special education teacher for grades 7-9. ABOUT THE POSITION As a special education teacher with us, you are an important part of the student support team and work to create good conditions for students' learning, development, and goal achievement. You work closely with school leadership, teachers, students, and guardians to develop accessible learning environments and provide appropriate support to students with special needs. An important task is to conduct and participate in educational assessments at the organizational, group, and individual level. In your work, you are expected to suggest interventions and adjustments for students in need, establish investigations and action plans, and follow up and evaluate these. As a special education teacher, you also work practically to provide students with support services and teach individually, in groups, and in regular classroom situations. You have a supportive and coaching function toward all staff to develop collaboration and support for students' development toward their goals. You are an important piece of the student support team where we work with a salutogenic approach to develop our preventive and health-promoting work. QUALIFICATIONS You are a certified special education teacher. We prefer that you have previous experience working as a special education teacher, ideally in primary school. We value collaboration and teamwork. You should be independent, responsible, and able to structure and organize your work. You enjoy driving development work and want to take an active role in our student support team. As a person, you are solution-oriented and value and promote good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are passionate about working with children and young people and have a natural ability to communicate and connect with people. If you also have experience with artistic expression, that is an asset since it is the common thread at Kulturama. We place great importance on personal suitability.
