Seniority Level: Expert Location: Stockholm Remote Work: Up to 50% About the Assignment We are seeking three experienced IT project managers for an ongoing initiative within balancing and electricity market solutions at a major Swedish actor in the power system/energy sector. The business is undergoing significant change due to new regulations and increased market integration in the Nordic and European electricity market, and is now seeking structured support to ensure systematic and well-managed deliveries in ongoing and upcoming IT projects. The assignment involves classic IT project management according to established governance models (e.g., PPS/PM3). As a project manager, you are responsible for governance and planning, building project structure, and delivering on time, within budget, and with results for the client and steering committee. You will lead and coordinate project resources, manage and facilitate external stakeholders with project dependencies, and work in a team with other project managers, solution architects, and requirements and testing leads. Projects may include both custom development and implementation of standard systems, and will be staffed with business specialists as well as internal and external IT resources. You will report regularly to the project owner and steering committee and may also work with procurement and business architecture-related matters, as well as organizational alignment and handover to operations. At least 6 years of experience specifying deliverables from the business, for example by initiating/leading/facilitating workshops to capture business needs and translate them into functional and non-functional IT requirements. At least 6 years of experience working with governance models in project management, e.g., PPS, Props, or similar. At least 4 years of experience working with mission-critical IT systems with high information security requirements. At least 2 years of experience working in agile operations as an IT project manager/Epic Owner. Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written.
