The service has a well-developed outpatient clinic that includes a memory clinic, mobile team, and memory health services. There is also a unit for clinical drug trials. Research and education are conducted in collaboration with Lund University. We work closely with primary care, municipal services, and other specialist units at Skåne University Hospital (Sus). Together, we work with the memory clinic in multidisciplinary teams. The unit conducts in-depth assessments, evaluations, and interventions for memory clinic patients—individuals with acquired cognitive impairment. At memory health, we lead and participate in development work and research studies that benefit patients with suspected or diagnosed cognitive disease and/or their next of kin.
