JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Do you want to lead industrialization from concept to series production while driving projects and improvements in manufacturing? Fredriksons Verkstads AB is now seeking an experienced Production Technical Project Manager who wants to take a key role with responsibility for industrialization and production technical development.
In this role, you are responsible for taking customer products from idea to efficient, stable, and cost-optimized production. You lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams and ensure progress, quality, and results. The role also includes identifying and driving initiatives within automation and digitalization to develop future production. You work closely with production, customers, and other functions, where you take responsibility for technical decisions, prioritizations, and contribute a strategic production technical perspective.
Your main responsibilities:
Industrialization & Production Technology
• Lead industrialization projects for new customer products from concept to full-scale production
• Act as team leader for an industrialization team (production technicians, programmers, and production personnel)
• Participate in DFM work (Design for Manufacturing) together with the customer
• Provide close technical support to production during startup and ongoing manufacturing
• Troubleshoot, prioritize, and coordinate solutions to manufacturing-related problems
• Optimize work methods, flows, and manufacturing processes
• Initiate and implement tools, fixtures, and automation solutions to streamline production
Improvement Work and Follow-up
• Work data-driven to increase efficiency, capacity, and quality
• Initiate and drive improvement initiatives
• Ensure production economic optimization and cost control
• Ensure that projects and processes are documented, updated, and quality-assured

QUALIFICATIONS
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience
• Several years of experience in production technology, planning, or similar role within manufacturing industry
• Documented experience leading industrialization projects
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, flows, and production economics
• Experience working with technical documentation and drawings
• Experience with automation or working with automated manufacturing processes
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
