JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a nurse, you are responsible for basic and specialized nursing care. You work close to patients and are responsible for patients undergoing medical treatment with associated examinations in close collaboration with multiple professional categories such as nursing assistants, physicians, rehabilitation teams, coordinators, and contact persons with the municipality/primary care. The unit is equipped with monitoring systems for continuous recording of arrhythmia and ischemia. In your work, you deepen your knowledge of cardiac and pulmonary circulation and how it affects patients. We care for patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias, as well as patients with lung disease who may need NIV and Optiflow. The unit also has patients requiring continuous blood pressure measurement (arterial pressure measurement) and vasopressor/inotrope treatment. The care we provide is partly PM-driven, so we can initiate treatments independently directly after contact with a physician. We are now starting to open a follow-up clinic for our cardiac patients who have recently been discharged from inpatient care. Patients coming here will largely be followed up by a nurse who carries out predetermined prescriptions and/or treatments. Work at the follow-up clinic is independent, but you always have a cardiologist available to consult if needed. In Trelleborg, you have good opportunities to develop based on your own expertise. Addiction Center Malmö (BCM) is part of Adult Psychiatry Malmö/Trelleborg within the Department of Psychiatry, Habilitation and Assistive Devices. BCM is an innovative and dynamic operation with highly engaged staff. The operation is one of the country's largest in the field of substance use disorders. We offer treatment and diagnosis of alcohol, drug, and medication addiction in outpatient care as well as inpatient care for people with addiction problems requiring specialist evaluation and specialist care. We also have a regional mandate for inpatient care for opioid addiction. We have clinics for alcohol and medication abuse, comorbidity, drug addiction with or without neuropsychiatric diagnosis, gambling addiction, as well as youth clinics and accredited clinics for medication-assisted rehabilitation for opioid addiction (LARO). Addiction Center LARO clinic Trelleborg provides treatment for patients with opioid addiction. The clinic is available for those with opioid addiction who wish medication-assisted treatment and rehabilitation. We provide care for approximately 70 patients, many of whom have frequent contact with the clinic. We offer evaluations, pharmacological treatment, psychosocial interventions, group discussions, and family education. To optimize patient care, good collaboration within the clinic team is required, as well as cooperation with other actors such as Social Services, the Social Insurance Agency, and the Correctional Service.
