Do you want to spend the winter with us? About the Position We are now hiring approximately 50 employees for our lifts. The position of Kläppen Host is located within the Sports Department, which also includes ski school, activities, children's programs, and events. Together, we are approximately 100 people in the department. Our department's goal is to build a reputation for delivering the best service in the mountains. Guests should always meet a service-oriented, cheerful, and positive host who puts the guest first. To achieve our goal, we work with training and set individual goals and development plans. Responsibilities As a Kläppen Host, you are responsible for ensuring that guests receive excellent and personalized service at our resort. Your main tasks are to help children and adults boarding the lifts and ensure that their lift ride is as safe as possible. You will also work as a ski pass controller, cross-country trail host, and host at some of our activities, as well as help with various tasks around the resort. As a Kläppen Host, you will have varying working hours, as the lifts are open daily from 09:00-18:00. The position is a seasonal employment from December through April. Salary is determined according to the collective agreement. Qualifications To succeed as a Kläppen Host, you must be social, cheerful, outgoing, and flexible, with a genuine passion for people. You should, of course, enjoy being outdoors in all kinds of weather and have great patience and good physical fitness and strength. Since a large portion of Kläppen's guests are families with children, it is also important that you enjoy interacting with children. We expect that you enjoy skiing or snowboarding as a matter of course. These qualities are very important to us so that your winter with us will be as great as possible. Do you want to spend the winter with us? About the Position As a snowmobile patrol, you will have varying tasks on the mountain. This includes helping lift technicians, ski patrol, and mountain hosts. In addition, you are responsible for ensuring that the ski area is clean and well-maintained. The snowmobile patrol is part of an evacuation team for aerial lifts. Seasonal employment Dec-April with salary according to collective agreement. Responsibilities Opening and closing of the ski area. Refueling and emptying trash at our grilling areas. Removing snow from signs, benches, etc. Resolving lift shutdowns. Assisting ski patrol with injuries. Evacuation on aerial lifts. You can work equally well independently or as part of a team. Qualifications To apply as a snowmobile patrol, you should enjoy working outdoors with mobile work, have good physical fitness, and be able to take initiative.
