Substitute Native Language Teacher - Arabic
Description
We are now seeking a substitute native language teacher in Arabic for the Learning sector in the Native Language Unit. You will teach students in primary school and secondary school in accordance with the school's governing documents.
Placement will be at Stenhamreskolan, but the assignment involves travel as teaching occurs at each student's respective school placement. In this work, we use SchoolSoft and Google Classroom for planning and communication with students and guardians.
Employment Type: Substitute Position - Limited employment for 3 months with possibility of potential extension.
Employment Level: Part-time 80%
Job Responsibilities
As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing in accordance with current curricula. You collaborate with other school staff to create a good learning and work environment. We expect you to develop the pedagogical activities so that they become interesting, inspiring, and challenging, and that you stay current in your field. You build strong relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues and use digital tools to support teaching and development work.
Qualifications
You have a Swedish teacher's degree or equivalent that the employer deems comparable. You have experience working and/or teaching in primary school or secondary school.
Your knowledge of Arabic must be at a high level to teach the subject, and your knowledge of Swedish must be good enough that you can express yourself orally and in writing at an academic level.
The position requires flexibility, strong collaboration skills, and good computer proficiency. A driver's license is required.

You possess cultural awareness, pedagogical insight, and can explain language and cultural aspects in a simple way. Leadership, clarity, and good judgment characterize your approach to work. Furthermore, you are organized, creative, and have strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
