Rehab Södra is a results unit within SLSO, Stockholm County Health Care Area, and has an agreement to provide primary care rehabilitation. Occupational therapists, dietitians, physiotherapists, chiropractors, social workers, speech-language pathologists, and administrative staff work with us. At our unit on Södermalm, approximately 50 people work, of which 9 are occupational therapists. It's a wonderful team here with many who work with home visits. About the Position: As an occupational therapist in primary care, you meet patients of all ages and from different cultures. Patients have various diagnoses and functional limitations. Employment Form: Permanent, full-time 40 h/week with flexible working hours. Start date by agreement. Qualifications: Registered occupational therapist with a bachelor's degree. We are seeking an independent person who, with energy, commitment, and flexibility, wants to work at our hand therapy clinic and in home rehabilitation. You are confident in your role as an occupational therapist and have good ability to prioritize your work. It is an advantage if you have previously worked in primary care and with hand rehabilitation. SLSO conducts background checks before employment decisions. We are looking for you with experience and interest in neurological rehabilitation who wants to become part of our competent and engaged team! Neuro Team Rehab Södra provides team-based rehabilitation for people who have recently suffered a stroke or other acquired neurological injury or disease. In our team, a speech-language pathologist, social worker, occupational therapist, and physical therapist work closely together to help patients progress in their rehabilitation. We work in a team-based approach, and the occupational therapist's activity focus is an important part of increasing the patient's independence and participation. Common tasks include assessment and training of activity ability, cognitive assessments including Mindmore, promoting activity balance, prescription of assistive devices, assessment of living environments, and initiation of home modifications. We alternate between having our own patient meetings and team visits together with a colleague. Rehabilitation primarily takes place in the patient's home and their immediate surroundings, but also at the clinic. Home visits are conducted by electric car or bicycle. Our services are carried out in close cooperation with the patient's relatives and other healthcare providers. Documentation is done in Take Care.
