In the Family Support unit, family counselors and specially qualified support persons work together, and the unit is also responsible for mediation/youth services. The unit consists of 20 employees with broad experience and high expertise. We are now seeking a specially qualified support person to join our team. Job Responsibilities The target group for this work is children and young people who are at increased risk due to their own behaviors, or due to risk factors in the family or immediate environment. The intervention aims both to enable the child or young person to remain in their home—that is, to avoid placement in an institution or foster care—and to enable children and young people who are already placed to move back home. The work is based on a systemic approach, where contact and work with the child's/young person's family and network are considered essential. Your tasks may vary but are based on the commissioner's requirements and the young person's needs. The main task is to work closely with the child/young person to help them achieve their goals together. Work occurs during days, evenings, and weekends.
