Riding Instructor with Operational Responsibility
We are now seeking an engaged and organized riding instructor who wants to help drive our development forward.
Hallstaviks Ryttarförening is a non-profit association located in the beautiful natural setting of Roslagen. Here, adults and children come together through a solid and shared passion for horses. Regardless of your skill level, you are welcome to ride at our personal riding school, compete in your chosen discipline, or participate in the association's activities. About the role
As a riding instructor with operational responsibility, you will be the hub of our activities. You lead the daily work at the riding school, support the staff, coordinate planning, and are an important link between instructors, students, members, and the board. It is a role for someone who enjoys variety, freedom, and jumping in where needed.
The position is 65% and largely scheduled for afternoons and evenings.
The assignment in brief:
- Plan, organize, and lead lesson activities.
- Ensure that activities comply with the Swedish Equestrian Federation's guidelines.
- Manage staff planning and recruitment together with the board.
- Educate and support students, staff, and horses in their development.
- Maintain contact with students, parents, and members.
- Administrative work such as attendance reporting, LOK support, schedules, and invoicing materials.
- Together with the staff, be responsible for the welfare of the riding school horses.
- Contribute to good order and a pleasant atmosphere in the stable and on the facilities.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience with riding school operations, leadership, and horse management.
- Is organized, communicative, and enjoys working collaboratively.
- Has a strong commitment to equestrian values and youth development.
- Preferably has Riding Instructor certification through the Swedish Equestrian Federation, but personality and experience weigh equally.
