About Your Job
In your role as an engineer in raw material manufacturing, you'll work close to our production processes and machines that affect product properties and quality. The work is varied and independent, with significant scope to influence how we develop methods, process flows, and technical solutions. You collaborate daily with production staff, technicians, and other engineers, and participate in both improvement work and product development projects.
Your responsibilities include:
Analyze how machines and processes affect product quality and properties
Optimize process flows for increased efficiency and stability
Work with method and technology development within pressing and cutting operations
Support production with technical problem-solving
Participate in product projects for industrialization of new products
Drive improvement projects that create concrete value in daily operations
Placement and Flexibility
The position is located in Gimo.
Your Background and Personality
We're looking for someone with an understanding of production environments' demands for quality, efficiency, and safety. To succeed in this role, you have a degree in mechanical engineering, engineering physics, or a related engineering field, and you communicate fluently in Swedish.
It's a plus if you have experience with:
Industrial production where machines and processes affect product quality
Machine processing, such as pressing or cutting operations
Improvement or development projects within production or process technology
Collaboration with other engineers and technicians in production-oriented environments
English in speech and writing
Curiosity drives you forward and you enjoy tackling new technical challenges. With a structured approach and own initiative, you take responsibility for work being performed safely and efficiently. Collaboration is natural to you, and you actively contribute to your team's common goals while thriving with independent work.
