Social Pedagogue Gläntan unga vuxna is a care chain for young adults aged 18-30 with substance dependency, criminality issues, and mental health problems. Gläntan unga vuxna operates a unit called Snösvad, a treatment home exclusively for women aged 18-30 with substance dependency, criminality issues, and mental health problems. Snösvad is staffed solely by women and is located just outside Malmköping. Our Roxnäs unit, a treatment home just outside Eskilstuna, works with the same target group but accepts both young men and women. At both units, we conduct a modified twelve-step treatment program with special components of CBT. Gläntan unga vuxna also operates supported housing in the form of apartments where we provide independent living accommodations for the same target group with staff support. All units have an on-call emergency service available 24/7. With the increasing number of female placements at our units, we are now seeking a female social pedagogue who can work flexibly within the organization.
