What the Role Entails
As Energy Manager, you are responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing energy consumption across the client's properties and technical systems. You work both strategically and operatively to ensure energy-efficient solutions while meeting the operations' requirements for comfort, efficiency, and production. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on energy consumption
- Identifying and managing deviations in electricity, heating, and energy usage
- Optimizing heating, ventilation, and other technical systems
- Developing analyses, energy audits, and improvement proposals
- Presenting action proposals and investment documentation to client and operations
- Implementing and coordinating minor technical projects in areas such as HVAC, ventilation, and energy optimization
- Monitoring energy goals and sustainability initiatives
- Documentation, reporting, and updating of technical information
- Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective solutions
Who We Seek
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in energy, technology, and sustainable development. You thrive with an analytical approach and are motivated by finding improvement opportunities that create both economic and environmental value. To succeed in this role, we would like you to have:
- Post-secondary education in energy, property management, operations engineering, HVAC, or equivalent
- Experience with energy optimization, technical building systems, or similar areas
- Knowledge of heating, ventilation, and control systems
- Experience monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on energy data
- Good computer skills and experience with the Office suite, particularly Excel
- Experience with energy monitoring systems, building management systems, or operations monitoring (desirable)
- Experience from industrial, property, or production environments (desirable but not required)
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
- Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written
