We have a complete technological chain – from laser cutting and punching through machining and welding to wet and powder coating and assembly. We are looking for a hands-on colleague who can manage effectively, make independent decisions, and be a natural authority for our team. What will be your responsibilities? Direct management of 3 supervisors: Your role is not to do their job, but to lead and coordinate them in a humane and organized manner. Production planning and coordination: Ensuring the flow of orders through the company so that processes connect seamlessly, delivery deadlines are met, and quality is maintained. Process optimization: Monitoring efficiency, tracking defect rates, and working with our information system (ERP). Communication with management: Reporting production results directly to the company owner. What do we expect from you? Experience managing people in production: A position as supervisor, shift leader, or production manager in engineering is a must. Organizational talent and logical thinking: The ability to see production as a cohesive system and anticipate issues. Natural authority and fairness: The ability to communicate with both shop floor employees and management. Basic PC skills: Working with ERP systems and Excel should not be intimidating for you. Production Supervisor - Welding and Machining (Svařovna and obrobna)
We are a stable, purely Czech-based engineering company in the Trutnov district with approximately 90 employees. We have a modern technological park ranging from laser cutting, CNC machining, to our own paint shops. We pride ourselves on systematic planning and fair treatment of people. We are looking for an organizationally capable colleague for the position of Production Supervisor who will not just "put out operational fires" but will be a true manager of their department. Why work with us? We don't expect you to set up machines or handle a welding torch yourself. For direct supervision on the shop floor, you'll have 2 experienced partners at your disposal, and a dedicated material handler for logistics. Your task will be to free up your hands for organization, efficiency, and working with data in our information system. What will your responsibilities include? " Organization and Management: You will lead the welding department (approx. 14 people) and the machining department (approx. 7 people) through your two partners. " Working with Planning: We manage production systematically. Your task will be to break down and execute the production plan in our IS in clear bi-weekly cycles. " Efficiency and Logistics: Coordinating material flow (assigning tasks to the handler) so that workstations run smoothly and machines don't idle. " Quality and Standards: Oversight of technological procedures and quality standards. " Collaboration and Reporting: You will be a key partner to our Production Manager, with whom you will daily coordinate capacities and goal achievement. What do we expect from you?
