SPECIALIST OFFICER / SPECIALIST OFFICER, Child Protection and Social Welfare Department
The City of Broumov announces a selection process in accordance with § 7 of Act No. 312/2002 Coll. for the position of specialist officer in the Department of Social Affairs and Healthcare of the Broumov City Hall. Type of work: performance of administrative activities in the child protection and social welfare department. Place of work: administrative district of the City of Broumov, municipality with extended jurisdiction Salary grade: 10 - 11. Expected start date: October 1, 2026 (or by agreement). Requirements for employment: an official may be a natural person who is a citizen of the Czech Republic, a citizen of another EU member state or a citizen of a state that is a contracting party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, or a natural person who is a foreigner and has permanent residence permitted in the Czech Republic, has reached the age of 18, is fully legally capable, is of good character, speaks Czech, has completed university education in a master's or bachelor's degree program, or higher professional education. Additional requirements: professional qualifications to practice as a social worker in accordance with § 110 of Act No. 108/2006 Coll., on social services, as amended; experience as a social worker in child protection and social welfare matters is welcome; examination of professional qualifications for the performance of administrative activities in child protection and social welfare is welcome; good communication skills, attention to detail, time flexibility, assertiveness; knowledge of legal regulations in the field of child protection and social welfare; user knowledge of computer work - Word, Excel, email, internet, secure document delivery; driving license category B. Application contents: name, surname and title of the applicant; date and place of birth of the applicant; nationality of the applicant; place of permanent residence of the applicant; contact address of the applicant; type and number of the document proving identity and citizenship and, if the applicant is a foreigner who is not a citizen of an EU member state or a citizen of a state that is a contracting party to the European Economic Area Agreement, also the number of the document on permission for permanent residence; contact email and mobile phone number or landline; date and signature of the applicant. The following documents shall be attached to the application: a curriculum vitae in which the applicant states information about previous employment and professional knowledge and skills relating to administrative activities; a criminal record extract no older than 3 months - at the time of application submission, it may be replaced by a declaration of good character (for foreign nationals, also a similar document certifying good character issued by the home state; if the home state does not issue such a document, good character shall be documented by a declaration); a certified copy of the document on the highest education attained - at the time of application submission, a simple copy may be provided.
