About the Organization Familjehuset is an assessment and treatment home for children and families. The organization operates on assignment from social services and receives both emergency and planned placements under the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU). The current unit manager is concluding their position after 30 years with the organization. This represents a unique opportunity for you to take over a well-functioning unit while also helping to shape Familjehuset's future! We are entering an exciting development phase where the organization will expand with a department for unaccompanied children this fall. Here you will have the opportunity to lead and further develop an organization with a stable work team, engaged and experienced staff, short decision-making paths, and good opportunities to influence both working methods and future direction. The work is based on the child's needs and rights with an attachment theory perspective and an environmental therapeutic foundation. We work, among other things, with BBIC and Signs of Safety, and offer interactional treatment, parent and child conversations, and developmental assessments according to ASQ. Your Assignment As unit manager, you have overall responsibility for the organization's quality, development, finances, and personnel. The organization has approximately 20 employees. You lead the daily work while also driving the organization forward strategically together with staff and management. This is a role for someone who is motivated by developing operations, creating structure, and building on an already stable foundation. The role includes, among other things: leading, coaching, and developing a competent work team, responsibility for operational planning, budgeting, and results monitoring, further developing treatment methods, procedures, and working methods, ensuring good quality and regulatory compliance, developing collaboration and relationships with social services and other partners, working with recruitment, work environment, and personnel matters. The position includes on-call duty according to a rotating schedule. About You We are looking for someone who is a confident and clear leader with the ability to create engagement, participation, and direction. You have an entrepreneurial approach and are motivated by developing operations, identifying new opportunities, and turning ideas into concrete results together with your staff. You have good collaboration skills and build trusting relationships both internally and externally. At the same time, you are analytical, quality-conscious, and experienced in working toward goals and results. We believe you have: experience in work management or a leadership position, experience from social services or similar operations, good knowledge of legislation, documentation, and BBIC, a degree in social work or other equivalent higher education with a behavioral science focus. It is an advantage if you have experience from HVB operations and work with children and families. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The home care nursing organization consists of approximately 45 registered nurses organized in work teams based out of the municipality's special care facilities, with responsibility also for the corresponding home care service areas. These patient-responsible nurses work days, evenings, and weekends. Work as a registered nurse in the municipality is independent and stimulating with good opportunities for professional development. In interactions with patients and colleagues, good relationships and participation are created. Your patients are care recipients at the special care facility as well as patients of all ages who receive care in their homes. As a registered nurse, you are a key person, and collaboration with and supervision of nursing assistants within your area is an important and natural part of your work. You also collaborate with primary care, the municipality's Rehabilitation Unit, and the unit manager at the special care facility. QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications We are looking for a licensed registered nurse based in the central part of Alvesta. We prefer that you have previous experience working as a registered nurse in municipal home care. Work as a registered nurse in Home Care requires confidence in your professional role, independence, ability to collaborate, experience managing care personnel under the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL), and the ability to build good relationships.
