Business Development & Sales Manager to Xenergic

What if one of the key challenges in tomorrow's most advanced chips could be solved by technology developed in Lund? Xenergic is growing its international business and is now looking for a Business Development & Sales Manager to turn technical opportunities into strategic partnerships and long-term business. YOU WILL Xenergic is a Lund-based semiconductor company developing high-speed, On-chip memory IP for advanced chip technologies. With a strong technical foundation in place, we are now increasing our commercial focus and building relationships with leading semiconductor companies worldwide. You will play a central role in building Xenergic's international business and turning technical opportunities into long-term commercial partnerships. Working closely with the CEO, CTO and Engineering Manager, you will combine customer development and sales with a strong understanding of technology, products and where the market is heading. This is not a traditional sales role. Xenergic operates in complex semiconductor markets with long business cycles, where understanding the customer's architecture, technical challenges, product roadmap and decision process is essential. You will work with both engineering teams and commercial decision-makers and take personal ownership of moving opportunities from early dialogue and technical qualification through evaluation and negotiation to commercial agreement and design win. The role is hands-on. You will actively identify and approach potential customers, develop relationships and follow opportunities over time. You will also bring customer and market insights back into Xenergic, helping the management team understand where the strongest commercial opportunities are and how customer needs should influence value proposition and product priorities. An important part of the role will also be to develop Xenergic's international reach through selected local sales representatives and partners in key semiconductor markets. Your main responsibilities: Identify and develop strategic customers and new business opportunities in key semiconductor markets. Own and drive customer opportunities from prospecting and technical qualification through evaluation and commercial negotiation to signed licence agreement and design win. Build long-term relationships with engineering teams, technical decision-makers and commercial stakeholders. Understand customer architecture, use cases and memory requirements and translate these into relevant market and product input for Xenergic. Build Xenergic's international commercial coverage through selected sales representatives and partners, with particular focus on Silicon Valley, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan and Europe. Contribute customer and market insights to Xenergic's commercial direction, value proposition and product priorities together with the CEO, CTO and Engineering Manager. The role reports to the CEO and is part of the management team, with overall responsibility for Business Development & Sales. Extensive international travel is an important part of the role, with approximately 100 travel days per year expected, primarily to customers, partners and key semiconductor markets in North America, Asia and Europe. YOU ARE Your career has given you a strong understanding of the semiconductor industry and brought you close to both technology and business. Perhaps you started on the technical side and gradually moved towards Product Management, Business Development, Strategic Sales or another customer-facing commercial role. What matters is that you can move comfortably between technical discussions and commercial opportunities. You have a technical university degree, preferably in electronics, electrical engineering, engineering physics, computer engineering or a related field, together with relevant experience from semiconductor IP, SoC, processors or accelerators, EDA, foundry or related advanced chip technologies. You have a proven commercial track record in complex B2B technology environments and have personally driven opportunities from early technical dialogue and qualification through negotiation to signed agreement or design win. You are technically credible enough to engage with chip architects, SoC designers and engineering managers, while keeping a clear commercial focus. You are curious, hands-on and comfortable opening new doors, developing relationships and taking responsibility for moving opportunities forward. You enjoy working in an entrepreneurial environment and do not need a large sales or pre-sales organization around you to create momentum. Experience combining Product Management with Business Development or Sales is particularly relevant. Experience from On-chip Memory IP, semiconductor IP licensing, NRE and royalty-based business models, the foundry ecosystem or international sales representatives is considered an advantage. You are comfortable representing a smaller technology company internationally and building relationships with significantly larger organizations. Fluency in English is required, as is the willingness and ability to travel extensively internationally. At Xenergic, you will join at a stage where technology, market opportunity and commercial growth come together. Short decision paths and close collaboration with the management team give you the opportunity to directly influence which customers, markets and partnerships Xenergic pursues as the company grows internationally. WANT TO KNOW MORE? In this recruitment, Xenergic is collaborating with Nexer Recruit. For questions about the role or the recruitment process, contact Johanna Värmfors at [email protected] or +46 730 821 230, or Artan Bitiqi at [email protected] or +46 723 61 28 44. Xenergic's solutions are relevant for applications ranging from IoT and mobile devices to networking, high-performance computing and AI.
