About the Operation Ambulance services have a regional mandate and consist of five ambulance stations, three satellite stations operated by Region Västernorrland, and three ambulance stations in private operation. The operation encompasses approximately 200 employees distributed across five region-operated units, each led by a unit manager, and three contract-operated units. The operation's responsibility includes prehospital care, which involves assessment and treatment of acutely ill and injured patients of all ages and with all types of medical conditions and injuries before hospital care. Ambulance services perform approximately 36,000 assignments per year. In its daily work, the operation maintains important interfaces and collaborations with SOS Alarm, emergency departments, care wards, primary care, psychiatric care, state and municipal rescue services, social services, municipal care and elderly services, and police. Within ambulance services in Sollefteå, approximately 40 specialist nurses, nurses, and nursing assistants (ambulance care providers) currently work. The station currently staffs three ambulances around the clock plus one patient transport resource, which together perform approximately 3,600 assignments per year. We are now expanding the operation with a completely new role as assistant unit manager, who together with our regular unit manager will plan, organize, and lead the work at the unit. We are looking for a licensed dietitian with interest in prevention, public health, and operational development. As a coordinating dietitian, you will have a central role in developing primary care's preventive nutrition work and contributing to the transition toward Good and Accessible Care. The assignment requires strong collaboration skills, a strategic approach, and experience in translating knowledge into practical operational development. As a coordinating dietitian, you have a strategic assignment to develop, coordinate, and strengthen preventive nutrition work in primary care. You work across the region with knowledge governance, implementation, and development of working methods that contribute to more equitable health and a transition toward Good and Accessible Care. The assignment includes close collaboration with child health services, maternal health services, municipalities, and other actors in the public health field within primary care. The assignment does not involve personnel responsibility but places high demands on coordination abilities, leadership through influence, and the ability to translate knowledge into practical operational development.
