Positive, Active, and Loving Personal Assistant Sought in Ängelholm
I'm looking for you who sees it as a privilege to be my Sidekick and help me through life. You should be positively minded, reliable, active, loving, playful, proactive, and believe only in positive reinforcement. I have autism level 3, severe ADHD, very severe intellectual disability, severe sleep disorder, Pica syndrome, and ARFID eating disorder. With that comes some challenges. I'm nonverbal so I need a lot of support with my communication and you should be attentive to body language and sounds. Since I'm a bit particular about food, I have a button on my stomach. That's where I get everything I need—what I put in my mouth is only the most delicious food and of course some objects that look delicate. I'm quick as a weasel and love adventure so you need to have eyes in the back of your head so I don't sneak off. I have periods of severe self-injurious behavior so I need help protecting myself, preventing it, and finding strategies to keep it to a minimum. Sleep isn't really my thing either—life is an adventure so I don't really have time for sleeping. I love cycling, both on my tricycle, side by side bike, and cargo bike. I also love the swimming pool and amusement park—sometimes it gets a bit loud and crowded so sometimes visits are short and sometimes many hours. I love hugs, tickles, and singing loudly. Long walks and playgrounds are also big favorites. Yes, I'm a real life lover and I'm looking for you who wants to enjoy life together with me. I go to school on weekdays until 2:00 PM so there are shifts in afternoons, evenings, nights, and weekends. Schedule is flexible by agreement. If needed, 20-40 hours per week according to preference. Experience is not a requirement—if you feel you match my awesomeness, you'll get all the instructions as we go along. I just want the best of the best, someone who understands the importance of being my Sidekick and helping me through life. I'm the one who always finds the needle in the haystack. Salary: In line with collective agreement. Job type: Full-time, Part-time, Extra work, Temporary Schedule: Weekend work occurs On-call / On standby Evening Monday to Friday Night Shift work Application questions: Do you have any experience working with children or as a personal assistant? How long does it take you to get to Ängelholm (if you live outside of it)? If you live far away, you probably shouldn't apply for this job.
