About Rebecka SiS Youth Residential Home Rebecka admits non-compulsory school-age girls, ages 16-21, with psychosocial problems, criminality, and substance abuse who are in compulsory care under LVU and require treatment. Rebecka has five departments with different mandates. Assessment work is conducted by psychologists, assessment secretaries, teachers, and nurses, and when the assignment requires it, child psychiatrists. Young people placed at Rebecka have at least one contact person to turn to during their stay. The contact person leads the planning and design of the treatment plan together with the girl, social services, and the girl's network. Contact persons also conduct structured conversations with the girls every week. They are also part of the assessment team in assessment placements and participate in the treatment interventions provided in the treatment departments.
