The Personal Assistance Unit is currently recruiting three engaged assistants for the Disability Sector pool. We are looking for you to take the next step in your professional development and contribute your dedication in a flexible and dynamic role. As a pool assistant, you will work in a stimulating environment with excellent opportunities to develop in your professional role. The assignment involves staffing various types of personal assistance services located throughout Östersund municipality. The client base spans all ages from children to seniors, making the work both varied and meaningful. The pool's task is to cover both emergency and planned absences of up to 14 days and to serve as a resource to enhance quality of life for citizens or increase service quality. Work follows a flexible schedule with day, evening, night, and 24-hour shifts. To thrive in this role, you need to feel comfortable working independently and be prepared to work 24-hour shifts. You will work 2 out of 6 weekends, Friday through Sunday, and the schedule is planned annually every sixth week in close collaboration with your team. Longer periods can be planned during summer and Christmas. We offer a permanent position and two temporary contracts covering 6 months with potential extension.
