Would you like to prepare delicious, home-cooked meals for a small group of children and be part of the preschool's daily activities? At Tummelisa, you'll have both responsibility for the kitchen and the opportunity to be involved in the program alongside the children. About the position We're looking for a cook who can start after summer. You'll be responsible for planning, shopping, and preparing all meals throughout the day. You work independently in the kitchen but have colleagues nearby. Responsibilities Plan and carry out purchasing within budget Follow self-inspection and food hygiene routines Prepare and serve all daily meals Keep the kitchen clean and organized Set and clear tables after meals (wipe tables, sweep floors, etc.) We're looking for someone who Has kitchen experience (preschool experience is a plus) Enjoys cooking from scratch and thinking sustainably Contributes to a good work environment and has a warm demeanor You'll also be part of the program: - You participate in the pedagogical yearly cycle, for example by creating dishes connected to different themes. - You're with guardians in the child group a few hours per week when staff have planning time. About us Tummelisa is a parent cooperative in Odenslund with approximately 18 children, high staff density, and a warm, homey environment. All food is prepared from scratch with a focus on nutritious and varied meals. We work closely with both children and parents to create a preschool with the children's best interests in focus.
