About the job As a test technician, you will be part of a team responsible for testing diesel engine components and subsystems, such as fuel systems, injectors, oil pumps, and aftertreatment systems. The work is conducted in close collaboration with test engineers and component managers, where test results form an important part of product development. Tests are performed according to both standardized methods and in prototype environments. Your main focus will be working with valve mechanism and urea dosing rigs as well as support within the fuel injector testing process. Example of work tasks: - Prepare and conduct test activities on engine components and subsystems - Install and connect test objects in test cells and connect measurement equipment - Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on test rigs - Troubleshoot and diagnose test objects and test equipment together with support functions - Adjust control system data (ECU) in collaboration with test engineers - Report deviations and faults according to established procedures - Ensure high quality of measurement data and test results - Work with injector testing, which includes testing, troubleshooting, and evaluation of fuel injectors for diesel engines - Connect test objects, conduct tests, and analyze and document measurement results from injector tests - Contribute to a safe and efficient working method in the test environment Who we are looking for We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest and experience with mechanical work, preferably related to diesel engines and test systems. You are thorough and quality-conscious with an analytical and solution-oriented approach.
