Your Role As a Maintenance Technician in Facilities Maintenance, you will play a central role in developing and ensuring systematic and preventive maintenance of LKAB's industrial facilities in Kiruna. You will work with buildings and structures by identifying maintenance needs, planning and prioritizing measures, and following up on their implementation. The role involves technical responsibility and contact with contractors and specialists. You contribute to reducing emergency maintenance, extending the lifespan of facilities, and strengthening facility safety. Your main responsibilities: Plan, develop, and follow up on maintenance plans. Conduct status assessments, inspections, and risk analyses together with specialists. Identify and prioritize maintenance needs in areas such as concrete, steel, roofs, and facades. Order and follow up on maintenance measures and provide technical support to contractors and consultants. Ensure compliance with requirements, standards, and regulations. Participate in reinvestments, improvement work, and technical investigations. Work with planning, documentation, and follow-up in maintenance systems. What You Bring As a person, you are structured, solution-oriented, and take responsibility for driving the work forward. You have the ability to plan and prioritize maintenance based on technical status, risk, and operational needs and enjoy collaborating with different professional groups. Requirements Approved upper secondary school grades Class B driver's license Good knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written Experience with technical maintenance, building structures, and/or property maintenance, preferably from process industry and/or other operations with high demands on facility safety. Meritorious Concrete and steel structures EN 1090 BAS-P/BAS-U IFS or other maintenance systems Budget and investment work One of the positions has a special focus on rust and corrosion management.
