Load Haul Dump (LHD) Vehicle Mechanic

Your role As an LHD vehicle mechanic, you work with maintenance, service, troubleshooting, and repair of load haul dump vehicles used in Kiruna Mine's underground production. The role involves significant individual responsibility where work is planned in collaboration with shift planners. You work primarily independently in the workshop, but also collaborate with colleagues from other shifts and external contractors when the work requires it. In this role, you will, among other things: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on LHD vehicles Troubleshoot and repair vehicle, electrical, steering, and hydraulic systems Carry out service according to established routines and instructions Participate in safe work planning and risk assessments Collaborate with internal and external parties on major projects Contribute to development and improvement of work methods, safety, and accessibility You will be an important part of the operation where your work contributes to high operational reliability, safe work environments, and efficient production. What you bring We're looking for someone who is responsible and always puts safety first. You have a solution-oriented approach and enjoy troubleshooting complex problems. To succeed in this role, you need to be proactive and able to work independently, while also being flexible when circumstances change.
