Do you want to combine technical expertise with leadership in an operation at the forefront of mining industry development? We are now looking for a Supervisor for Sandvik's operation at Viscaria in Kiruna. Here you'll have a key role where you lead service technicians, plan maintenance activities, and help build and develop the operation at a brand new site.
About the Role
You are responsible for the daily management of the service team and ensure that service and maintenance work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards. The role involves close collaboration with both the customer and internal functions, where you drive planning, coordination, and development of the operation forward. The position is varied and combines operational work with administration.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and plan daily service work
Coordinate preventive maintenance and component repairs
Ensure adequate resources, spare parts, and documentation
Be an important contact between Sandvik, the customer, and support functions
Handle and follow up on warranty cases and Maximo administration
Contribute to the operation's development with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvements
Your Background
You have experience from the mining industry or similar operations and feel comfortable in a role where technology, planning, and collaboration meet. You are responsible, solution-oriented, and have a natural ability to build good relationships. With a strong service focus and natural drive, you contribute to smooth cooperation and efficient operations.
We would like you to have:
Experience in operational service or maintenance work within the mining industry
Good knowledge of Sandvik's machine fleet
Good computer skills
Class B driver's license
Flexibility and good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Previous leadership experience and experience working with Maximo are considered merits.
