Nurse Acute Care Unit, Vilhelmina Medical Center

WORK TASKS You will work with doctors, nurses' assistants, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists in a close and well-functioning collaboration. We value community, respect, and making use of each other's knowledge and experiences. The unit has 8 care beds and patients come to the unit via our clinic or are transferred from the hospital. Daily rounds are held on the unit, followed by ward work. We collaborate with the municipality in the discharge process. We have an elderly care clinic and the district nurse actively participates in the discharge process. Work shifts start at 07:00, with shift changes at 13:30 and 21:30. During the night, one nurse and one nurse's assistant work and are responsible for the unit and the clinic. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a licensed nurse. Previous experience working in a care unit and in acute healthcare is advantageous. You are confident in your role and enjoy working both independently and in a team. You also have a strong commitment to providing people with safe and secure care. Occupational Therapist for the Medical Unit

Description We are now seeking an occupational therapist. This position is a 12-month temporary assignment with the possibility of extension at 100% employment level. The position is located in our medical unit, which is responsible for health and medical care and rehabilitation, conducted by nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists in the municipality's special housing facilities, day activities, or in the homes of residents who have difficulty visiting a health center.
