Infrastructure Officer for the Staff Unit at Defense Medicine Center

As an infrastructure officer in this position, you are part of the staff's planning department where you report directly to the planning chief, but you will support the entire unit. Main Duties Work as an infrastructure officer at FömedC involves, among other things, planning, leading and implementing infrastructure projects and matters within the area in your own unit regarding infrastructure supply. You will also participate in infrastructure planning of the unit's needs in the short and long term. Duties also include ordering building modifications and you are responsible for planning facility supply. You are advisory to unit leadership on infrastructure matters. Additionally, you are responsible for monitoring, analysis, evaluation and development related to infrastructure and for leading project groups. The work involves cooperation with military and civilian actors within and outside the Swedish Armed Forces. At Gothenburg Garrison, garrison planning is led by the Älvsborg Amphibious Regiment (Amf 4). Cooperation takes place on an ongoing basis with the Swedish Armed Forces Local Planning Unit (LplE) and the Fortifications Agency (FortV). Qualifications Post-secondary education in civil engineering/infrastructure or equivalent education that the employer deems comparable. Previous work experience within infrastructure.
