As a motor technician, you will be part of a value stream working together with assemblers and inspectors. As a motor technician, you are responsible for: • GKN's contact with end users. This includes receiving orders for motors, equipment and spare parts, as well as coordinating deliveries and transports. • Planning and technical ordering. Support with planning within your own workflow. • Responsibility for remedial meetings. • Financial planning of maintenance objects. • When needed, initiate changes to OEM data. • Impact assessment of new/modified requirements. • Participate and provide support in various projects. In the role as Associate Research Engineer, you will be an important part of a dynamic team that contributes to ensuring high quality and reliability in manufacturing processes within the aerospace industry. Examples of work tasks: • Conduct inspections and evaluations of components manufactured with additive manufacturing (AM) Interpret and analyze inspection results to contribute to the development of manufacturing processes and materials within additive manufacturing Collaborate with process development teams to ensure high quality and reliability in manufacturing Participate in the development of innovative inspection methods for advanced components within the aerospace and space industry.
