For 25 years, Gryning has offered residential and community-based care for children, youth and families, on-call and family homes, addiction treatment, supported apartments, initiatives against honor-related violence and oppression, as well as housing for individuals with functional disabilities (LSS). We provide counseling and training and assist with placements. Gryning is owned by municipalities in Västra Götaland through four municipal federations. Bergiusgården in Ljungskile receives boys and girls ages 16–21 with substance abuse issues related to alcohol and drugs, but may also involve a combination with criminality and/or mental health issues. We offer 24-hour care and qualified treatment. Youth are placed according to the Social Services Act (SOL) or the Youth Custody Act (LVU). JOB DUTIES What does the position entail? As a treatment pedagogue on awake nights/on-call at Bergiusgården, you work both awake nights and sleeping on-call according to schedule. While on sleeping on-call, you are on standby and can be called to assist the awake night staff as needed. Regardless of your role, you contribute to creating safety, calm and security for the youth.
