We are now seeking a confident and independent registered nurse for an extended assignment within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service in Skåne. The assignment spans a full year – starting October 1, 2026 through October 1, 2027. Within the Prison and Probation Service's healthcare operations, you will encounter a broad spectrum of care needs. The work is varied and includes everything from basic somatic care and acute assessments to psychiatric interventions and counseling. Duties - Independent assessments, triage, and treatment of inmates' health conditions. - Medication management and administration. - Planning and implementation of scheduled care as well as management of acute care needs. - Collaboration with correctional staff, physicians, psychiatry, and external healthcare providers. - Documentation in accordance with applicable legislation and procedures.
