Mail Carrier/Package Courier - Lund and Surrounding Area

CityMail delivers mail and packages to approximately 6 million private individuals and businesses in Sweden. We are now hiring additional colleagues for Lund and the surrounding area. We offer you: a varied job on the move together with a great group of colleagues the opportunity to develop within CityMail in the long term proximity to work We are looking for someone who: is at least 18 years old has basic knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written has a Class B driver's license or moped operator's license enjoyed physical work is comfortable operating vehicles for which you hold a license/operator's permit (bicycle, moped, car) It is beneficial if you have experience from similar work, but for us your background is not the most important thing. We value your commitment, attention to detail, and work ethic, and therefore place great emphasis on your personal qualities during the recruitment process. What does the workday look like? Operations are open on weekdays (excluding holidays). Working hours are distributed between 07:00-16:30. The workday begins with preparing that day's deliveries, where you and your colleagues sort today's mail and packages. Following this, deliveries occur within the area. We primarily use e-bikes for delivery, but you may also use a car, moped, or regular bicycle depending on which delivery route you have for the day. Once all mail and packages are delivered, you return to the office and finish with administration and preparation for the next day's work together with your colleagues. Employment Type This is a so-called hourly employment position where each work shift constitutes a separate fixed-term employment. You will work varying hours and scope depending on the day and needs. We would prefer for you to be available to work up to full-time during daytime hours. To ensure you have the right conditions to succeed, employment begins with an introduction. Salary Fixed hourly or monthly salary according to collective agreement. A salary scale applies for both regular and hourly employees. Starting salary/hour is 150 (incl. 12% vacation compensation) which equals 134 kr (excl. 12% vacation compensation). Interested?
