At the Research Group for Information Systems at Luleå University of Technology, we need to hire a research assistant in information systems with a focus on systems science, digital service development, and data science. The Research Group for Information Systems is part of the Department of Digital Services and Systems, which also includes the Center for Distance-Bridging Technologies and the Center for Security in Society and Critical Infrastructure. We have approximately 35 employees in the department, including researchers, teachers, and project managers. Duties As a research assistant, you will work with teaching activities primarily within systems science, digital service development, and data science. You will work with both theoretical and applied areas, together with teachers and researchers from the Information Systems field. The research area is fundamentally socio-technical, which means you need to understand both technical aspects as well as human and organizational dimensions. Qualifications and Experience To be qualified for a research assistant position, you must have a 3-year university degree in information systems or another relevant field. Strong scientific skills and experience in qualitative and quantitative research, as well as good communication skills in speech and writing. You will participate in teaching activities that are conducted in Swedish, so good knowledge of Swedish is required.
