About NyföretagarCentrum Nord
NyföretagarCentrum Nord is a nonprofit organization that offers free, confidential, and objective consulting for new and aspiring entrepreneurs in Norrbotten. We operate in most municipalities, including Luleå, and work to coach and support entrepreneurs on their journey to building sustainable businesses. Through support from municipalities, local business, and partners, we provide new entrepreneurs with consulting, training, and business networks during their first three years.
We are now seeking a New Business Advisor who, on a consulting basis, wants to lead and develop our operations in Luleå and contribute to the region's business development.
About the Role
As a New Business Advisor, you are responsible for NyföretagarCentrum's operations in Luleå and ensure that we can provide new entrepreneurs with supportive and high-quality consulting to succeed. The role comprises approximately 50% and is conducted on a consulting basis through your own company. The assignment can be well combined with other consulting assignments or employment, but must not compete with the assignment at NyföretagarCentrum Nord.
The position is based in Luleå, although flexible remote work is largely possible.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Conducting individual consulting meetings and group sessions with aspiring and new entrepreneurs, both digital and in-person
- Coaching and advising entrepreneurs on issues required to start or develop their new business
- Being NyföretagarCentrum's local face in Luleå and collaborating with other business development actors to create a broad and supportive network
- Creating engagement around entrepreneurship through lectures and networking events
- Building and maintaining relationships with local sponsors/business partners in Luleå to strengthen the financing of our activities
- Contributing to and collaborating with the team of advisors in Norrbotten, as well as the operations manager for NyföretagarCentrum Nord
You can largely plan and set your working hours and days of the week as you wish, but the demand for consulting is also decisive, which means the workload can vary over time.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who:
- Runs their own business and therefore has practical experience in entrepreneurship
- Has knowledge in business development such as economics, regulations, marketing, product/service development, partnerships
- Has the ability to plan and conduct digital and in-person meetings
- Has good digital skills and the capacity to quickly learn and use various applications and programs
We see it as an extra bonus if you have:
- An already broad network within the business community in Luleå
- Previous experience in business consulting
- Experience in organizing events, networking activities, or sponsorships
