Vågen HVB is a residential facility for young people with sexual behavioral problems aged 14-18 years. We have 5 places available. Balansgruppen (Balans HVB & Vågen HVB) works with young people who have sexual behavioral problems and/or trauma. We value everyday work as one of the most important interventions young people can receive during a placement. Treatment is provided 24 hours a day. You will work at the facility helping young people develop and use new skills so they can manage life outside the residential setting. Your work includes protecting young people so they feel safe and motivating them to use the skills they develop through talk therapy and group sessions. We are committed to maintaining a home-like safe environment for our young people and we have a high level of treatment intensity, which means you are with the young people for most of your working time. You enjoy working with and spending time with young people. You have a stable temperament and a genuine desire to develop your skills to do good work together with the team and the young people.
