Your work includes: transporting and delivering cargo within the team's area loading and unloading long-haul vehicles at the terminal and at customer locations stowing and handling cargo safely and efficiently taking responsibility for correct load securing inspecting cargo and noting any damage or discrepancies reporting discrepancies and cargo damage planning and executing your routes in a traffic-safe and efficient manner maintaining ongoing contact with customers and colleagues You play an important role in the transport chain. By ensuring that loading, unloading, and deliveries function as they should, you create good conditions for both your colleagues and the long-haul drivers who continue the transport. About You We're looking for someone who is confident behind the wheel and enjoys independent and varied work. You are thorough and organized and understand the importance of handling cargo carefully, safely, and correctly. In this role you meet our customers every day. Therefore, it's important that you are service-oriented and have a professional and friendly demeanor. You can adapt to different situations and communicate clearly with both customers and colleagues. You are also solution-oriented and can handle situations that don't always go according to plan. This could include, for example, a customer not being available or conditions at a delivery changing. You can make your own decisions when the situation requires it and know when you need to ask for help. Even though you are largely responsible for your own work, you are a team player.
