With us, you inspire joyful learning – every day, all the way! Your New Job We are seeking a substitute for one of our drama/theater pedagogues. You have broad and deep competence in drama/theater and high pedagogical skills where you can meet different age groups and varying group sizes. The role includes teaching in Kulturskolan's term courses in drama and theater, which primarily take place in the afternoon and evening. Additionally, you will teach within Kulturskolan's basic course and in our open, outreach activities - Kulturfabriken. Within the basic course, the municipality's grade 2 students meet pedagogues from Kulturskolan throughout the school year. Within Kulturfabriken, you and a few colleagues work in our outreach activities focused on the municipality's socioeconomically prioritized areas. This also includes work in the Summer Kulturskolan. Beyond the mentioned parts, you collaborate with subject colleagues and the rest of the team in various projects and outward-facing activities. In certain cases, weekend work may occur. You see each student and through your knowledge and pedagogical abilities, you provide challenges that contribute to developing and preparing the student for what could become a strong interest, a hobby, or even a profession in the future. Our Kulturskolan has approximately 55 creative employees who work with great dedication to give children and young people the opportunity to develop through teaching, experiences, and their own creativity within music, dance, visual arts, film, and theater. We also conduct outreach and open activities to reach even more children and young people. We teach within our core operations primarily from early afternoon to evening, but also with, for example, basic courses and cultural progression programs, which both involve offering various cultural activities to entire grade levels within primary school and adapted primary school. Kulturskolan has its own facilities in both Jönköping and Huskvarna. You have experience teaching drama and theater to children and young people. You have good pedagogical abilities and a clear desire to help children and young people develop through cultural activities. In your role, you start from the student's interest and inspire and adapt teaching to each unique context. You are creative, responsible, flexible, and well-organized; you work independently and also collaborate easily with others. You understand the importance of conducting yourself and expressing yourself professionally toward students, guardians, colleagues, and partners alike. You have good knowledge of digital tools, both pedagogical and administrative, and use them actively in your teaching. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. As the work involves traveling to different schools in the municipality on certain days of the week, we would prefer that you have a driver's license and access to your own car.
